1. Ironclad Authentics (ICA) is the licensing and memorabilia division of Ripken Baseball. Founded in 2005 by Major League Baseball Hall of Famer Cal Ripken Jr. and brother Bill Ripken, Ironclad has become a leader in the memorabilia industry. Being apart of Ripken Baseball, Ironclad believes and practices the Ripken Way. We are also one of a select few memorabilia companies who are members of the MLB Authentication program which means that each ICA baseball autograph comes dual authenticated by Ironclad AND Major League Baseball.

2. Do you sell gift certificates?
1. We do not offer Ironclad Authentics Gift Cards, but if you would like to purchase something as a present for someone we are able to ship to them.

3. What is your Return Policy?
1. If you receive a product and it has been damaged, please contact Ironclad customer service (customerservice@ironcladauthentics.com) within 30 days of purchase to ensure you get full replacement value for your product. For all other return requests, please contact customerservice@ironcladauthentics.com. All return requests must be submitted within 30 days of purchase. 4. Are your signatures real or laser printed onto the product?
1. Here at Ironclad Authentics we only sell 100% guaranteed authentic autographs. All autographs purchased at Ironclad Authentics will include an Ironclad Authentics hologram (baseball autographs will include a MLB hologram as well). Each hologram has a unique number on it, which has been entered into our database. You can redeem your Certificate of Authenticity (COA) by visiting (Verify Authenticity).

5. What is a Certificate of Authenticity?
1. A COA Is an official letter from a company stating that the item you have in your possession is a legitimate signature. When purchasing any autographed item make sure that item comes with a COA. Without a COA, the value of an item is significantly diminished and that item can be tough to resell.
   

6. Where do you get your autographs from?
1. Ironclad Authentics conducts regular signings with our exclusive athletes: Cal Ripken Jr., Bill Ripken and Joe Mauer. We have also previously conducted signings with other non-exclusive athletes, including Don Mattingly, Brian Roberts, Miguel Tejada, and Mark Teixeira. Ironclad Authentics also purchases signatures, but don’t worry, an Ironclad Authentics employee, or a verified ICA authority is at every signing watching our products as they are signed.

7. Do you buy memorabilia from private owners?
1. We no longer purchase already signed product from private owners. In order to ensure that our products are all 100% guaranteed authentic we only purchase autographs directly from the player.

8. Can I have Cal Ripken Jr. or Joe Mauer sign an item that I have already purchased?
1. Roughly 3-4 times a year we conduct signings with our exclusive athletes where you can send in product to be signed by the athletes and have them personalized if you would like (i.e. To Joe Best Wishes, Happy Birthday Sue, Happy Bar Mitzvah, etc.). These signings are closed to the public, so you must send in your item and it will be sent back to you. Throughout the year, Cal Ripken Jr. makes many public appearances at stores, or shows where you have a chance to meet, talk and take a picture with him.

9. Are there any items, or inscriptions that Cal or other athletes won’t sign?
1. Cal Ripken Jr, like many athletes, reserves the right to refuse to sign anything that they deem as inappropriate or offensive. If this does happen, you will be notified as soon as possible so you can come up with a new inscription for your item.

10. I know that I want to purchase an autograph, how do I go about doing that?
1. Visit our homepage, http://www.ironcladauthentics.com and you can browse by sport, player, product type or team, or you can search for something specific. Once you have done that, add it to your shopping cart and check out.

11. I know that your item is authentic, and I know I want to buy it, but I don’t want to pay shipping, do you have a store that I can pick it up from?
1. ICA does not have a store front and all items must be shipped from our warehouse. Every item will be shipped out within 1-2 days of purchase (unless otherwise stated on our shipping policy page) via UPS or USPS. Once an item is sent, please visit your account page to see tracking information.

12. Now that I have bought my autograph, what is the best way to keep it from getting damaged?
1. No matter how bold the autograph is, sunlight or exposing your autograph to light will cause your autograph to fade over time. This does not mean you should lock your autograph in a safe so it never sees the light of day. Purchasing a UV Protective display case for your baseball, football, helmet, bat, etc. is a great way to block out the light and prevent fading, yet still show off your autograph! For Photographs, framing them so they can be hung on your wall is a great way to also display your autograph. When framing the photo, make sure the glass has been treated and is UV protected.

13. Now that I’m hooked on collecting, I want to get more! Can I submit a request for you to get autographs by certain players?
1. If there is a certain athlete who you are looking to get an autograph from, definitely let us know and if we have the ability to get that player we will. If we don’t, we will point you in the right direction, and get you in touch with the necessary people!

14. If you have the exclusive rights to Cal Ripken Jr., Bill Ripken and Joe Mauer, how come I can buy autographed product of theirs elsewhere?
1. Other companies purchase autographs from us as well and they sell it for a higher, marked-up price. Other companies may have the same product, but no one is going to have it at a lower price than Ironclad!
