Q: How do I place a bid?
A: Each item has two buttons you can click to place a bid. One is to the right of the items image and one is at the bottom of the page. Once you click on place bid you will then need to confirm your bid and address on the next page.

Q: Is there a charge to place a bid?
A: There is no charge to place a bid. A charge will only occur to the high bidder when the auction ends.

Q: What is a Proxy Bid?
A: A proxy bid is a bidding system that allows you to put in a maximum value you would like to pay for an item but will following the current bid structure until that number is reached. For example if the current high bid is $50 with a $5 bid incriment and you put a $100 proxy bid in, your proxy bid will start at $55 and only go up when another user bids against you. If no one bids against you the item will sell to you at $55. Once a user outbids that $100 proxy bid your automatic bidding will stop until you manually increase it.

Q: Can I Retract a Bid?
A: All bids are final. Once confirmed, your bid will not be allowed to be retracted.

Q: How can I keep track of all the auctions that interest me?
A: Ironclad Auctions provides you with a watchlist where you can keep track of any and all items you wish. This is accesible using the link on the left hand side of any auction page or by clicking on "My Auction Account."

Q: What is a Buyers Premium?
A: A buyes premium is a percentage that is added to the winning bid of each item. Ironclad Auctions charges a 10% buyers premium for each item. For example, if you win an item for $100 the buyers premium will be $10 (10% of $100) and your total will be $110 plus any shipping and tax that is applicable. This percentage will be added at checkout.

Q: How will I know when I am outbid on an item?
A: Ironclad Auctions provides you with an email notification when you are outbid on an item. You can also view your watchlist to see which items you have been outbid on.

Q: How do I know my item is authentic?
A: All Ironclad Auctions items come with proof of authenticity. To find out who has authenticated the item you are bidding on please view the item description. All non Ironclad Authentics items are from an already approved vendor. To read more on the Ironclad Authentics authenticity policy please click here.

Q: How do I pay for my item?
A: When the auction closes ou will be sent an email that has a link to a payment information page. Click on that link and fill out your credit card information and your order will be processed.

Q: How long will it take to receive my item?
A: All auction items will ship within 2-5 business days. For more information on shipping times and procedures please click here.

Q: How do I sell my own item on IroncladAuctions.com?
A: Ironclad Auctions encourages you to consign your item to sell online. To do this please click here and submit your request for consignment.

Q: If I win a charity auction item is it tax deductible?
A: Each charity auction item is tax deductible for any amount paid above the actual value of the item. A charity letter will be included in your order for your reference for all charity auctions.
